I got back after an hour in downtown Chicago, I was glancing at where I parked my car on the street with plenty of meter time and car was gone. At first I thought the car was stolen which is what I'd rather preferred. But then I asked the store across the street if cars are ever towed and he said all the time. Anyways the thoughts of my car 4 wheel drive left in gear lowered to only 4 intches off the ground and with a body kit being dragged around city streets and to the impound almost gave me a heart attack. Thats why I would have preferred it be stolen then have to deal with all the problems that I would have. Think about it, the tow truck hooking up to the front axles behind an RS4 bumper, dragging a 4 wheel drive car against the transmission and engine with the back bumper scrapping the asphalt up and down ramps to Lower Wacker Dr. I went to the impound and sure enough my car was there, I didn't even want to look at it, but when I got in the car it was in nuetral, which means they must have gotten into the car and thrown it in nuetral, which is suprising to me. The worst I've noticed so far is the Rieger Rear valence scatched on the bottom and the paint coming off. This story hurts me badly.

NOBODY PARKS IN THE LOOP ANYMORE UNLESS YOU ARE SUICIDAL!!! Man , take the CTA. The
Draconian way the city deals with traffic problems is
without doubt the most arrogant thing anybody who
resides in Chicago can experience. Bless yourself and your car. It is well known that some city workers can not stand owners of German cars and consider us fair game and easy prey. They look at it that if you can afford a German car you can afford the ticket. Just take your experience as a learning task and don't make the same mistake.
