For those who don't know, there will be a track day on April 7th at Gingerman Raceway, shared by the CVO, the Saturn Club and the local Q-club.

I am planning on attending as a photographer who will just happen to carry along a helmet. :) I doubt the Ginster CQ will be track worthy by then.

I am contemplating camping if the weather gets nicer, but if not, will be headed up on Saturday morning if anyone wants to caravan from the Chicago area.

I'll be heading up at the crack of dawn on Saturday. I'll be in a '01 Casablanca white A4tq with Cup 1 Porsche wheels. It may be too hard to schedule a caravan. I'll have a hard enough time getting out of bed at that hour. Maybe I'll have you snap some photos of my car on the track. Find me. I'll see you there.

I am really going to try to make it up there, be it in my A4 or in my wife's VW Cabrio. Not the most macho thing, but I really want to get on the track.

I probably will be at Gingerman on Saturday, but am staying in Michigan Friday night.

Looks like I will be heading up on Sunday morning. I need Saturday to replace the diff/tranny mounts in the CQ and get the knock sensor issue figured out. If I can get the car sorted out, I may even run. It all depends on my mood. :)

Either way, I'll be there, look for the Ginster Coupe.
