It is kind of a hike from here, as it is at the top of lower Michigan. From Milwaukee it is the same to go south and up through Michigan as it is to go across the UP. From the sounds of it, it's tough to watch a rally on anything besides TV.

I certainly seems that way. The map I saw indicated about two places one could catch in a day to see the cars go past, but I don't know how they have it set up this year. I have never been to one, but that one is supposed to be good, apart from standing in the cold. The neat thing is that it lasts three or four days, with the club and pro sessions. A pretty good hike from these parts, though.

I would love to go but... I will be at the AUDI winter driving school in Austria and Germany.

Sounds like a possible impromptu event.
