I like the new forum. Much easier to use!
Is it possible to get members and database info like the eGroups S4Chicago list?
If so how?
I'm kind of lost as to who's who since some of us have changed or names.

The forum members list is huge, since the forum system is "on loan" from AudiWorld...thus thousands of people could (potentially) post here. That's not gonna happen--I'm just illustrating a point.
A more practical list is that of the Lakes Region quattro Club membership. Many, but not all of the forum people are members (which is fine) but the Club membership list isn't publicized, in order to prevent solicitation and protect privacy. (The Club has had corporate requests for the member list, and it's been denied in such cases.)
What do you mean by database info? Is this referring to members as well?
-Chicago Joe

Database in the S4Chicago list had some of the members listed including their cars info, mods & such. Not all members participated. It was a DIY fill in the blanks kind of thing. Very cool. Just checked the list you where not listed but I recognize your name from the postings

There's a few options...it's really up to what people want to do:
1) The Lakes Region website (www.lrqc.org) has a "Members' Cars" page where you can have a photo of your car and a few details.
2) AudiWorld has its large registry.
3) There's no reason you can't continue to use the Egroups site.
-Chicago Joe
