View Full Version : What's the easiest way to disable factory bluetooth?

Trying to do this because I replaced the Concert II+ HU in my car but my phone seems to always want to pair with the factory bluetooth. Deleted the Audi device listing on my phone and even switched it from "Automatic" to "Ask" on the connection settings for that device (but you'd think deleting it would delete that too).

My DDX812 has bluetooth which my phone can connect to fine but it always seems to prefer the Audi bluetooth upon starting the car... My phone is always "asking" me if I want to bond with the Audi device instead of connecting to the Kenwood (which is on Automatic btw). Is there a fuse that can be removed that only serves the factory BT module or do I have to remove the seat and unplug the thing (I think it's under the seat right)?

Ha, I'd love to sell it but the car is a lease, so when it goes back it will have to be in the car.

Problem seems to have worked itself out now somehow though, my phone is not trying to connect to the Audi device anymore and connects up to the Kenwood automatically as it should.
