The option for bluetooth is now available and the cd changer works which runs through it so the avic is receiving the signal. My phone sees the pioneer bluetooth, but when I put the avic on bluetooth it says no signal. tia

Can't really answer your question but are you sure your phone is compatible? Does Pio have a compatibility list? Sometimes you can run into something strange like that where your model phone ends up not working with it :(
