Also, I'm interested in having enclosures built in the front door for my speakers. Has anyone here done this? I listened to a competition vehicle this weekend with kick panel speaker pods that he had reinforced with fiberglass and the car sounded simply amazing. Obviously there's more than that that made the car sound so good but there is a definite benefit to mid-bass when this speakers are in enclosures. Is it even possible on a B6 S4?

I'm also interested in having a fiberglass enclosure built in the area of the cubby hole in the trunk, behind the door (which would be removed). Has anyone here done this and had it sound good? I'm worried about enclosure volume and rattling.

You really don't need door builds in the B6 as the speakers screw to the door not the door card, so plenty of mid bass available with the right amped components. I had to filter the fronts as they were too bassy!
