kinda of. The pilot is nice, but my V8 Treg crushes it on all fronts. I agree w/ you on the TT, most underrated Audi by the "enthusiast" crowd.

22K miles loaded ex. adj suspension (exactly the way I wanted it, with exactly the color combo) for.... $29K and a great trade in value on a POS car. Got it at a Ford dealership, it belonged to the bro-in-law of the finance manager's. Mint condition.

I read everything about the 04's having issues, so I avoided those. Then I was told to get nothing less than the V8. This was the cheapest, lowest mileage one I could find, so I lucked out, and it is the most reliable car I've ever owned (including past Audis, Hondas, Mazdas and Acuras). Luck of the draw.
