Hey, i have a b5 a4 with the non bose system. a while back i switched out the stock double din H/U for an alpine ca-9825 which has worked out perfectly. I also have an alpine amp running a jl 12w3v2.

my concern is the custom made dash kit is starting to look cheesey and i was wondering if i would put my stock h/u back in using a JL clean sweep.

im not an audio expert by any means so the system i have now is very simple. Thanks for any advice you guys and happy holidays.

After you sum all the inputs, you can tweak A TON you want if you get the 3sixty.2, plus have an aux input for an ipod, etc.

Research the forum and you will discover that Audis are the easiest to add aftermarket amps to OEM HUs of any car. Good amps give great results, some amps give poor results, but you do not need EITHER kind of adapter to get good results in your car. Spend the money on better amps and speakers.

...and remember...the speakers are only interpreting the signal from the amp.
