Can anyone confirm or deny the relay mentioned in this writeup is needed for delta to concert I swap?

Also, the writeup specifies pin 15 for relay trigger but isn't pin 6 the switch for active speaker?

Does anyone know if coding the concert I for bose vs non-bose changes the behavior of pin 6?

My new concert I ($11 on ebay!) works great except bose amp doesn't turn on. I need to give it 12V, just until it turns on and then everything works fine. Just curious if others have had success with the relay or if there's another fix.
