After much toil and trouble, I have the Icelink in but now notice that I get a bad hiss from the center channel (Bose).

Whether it was there or not before... I am not sure, as I don't usually listen to the radio with the key off.

The hiss is constant... doesn't increase with volume. And I know some of you will just say, crank it up and drown it out... not that simple when you've got bad tinnitus. :(

In any event... short of disconnecting the center speaker, is there a way to fix this?

...ground port on the head unit, you'll run into problems.

See the IceLink/iPod link in my sig for a pic.

Actually I think this was the first time I listened to the stereo without the engine on (and in a closed garage at that)... so chances are the engine was drowning out this hiss.

Going to disconnect the center speaker tomorrow... since there doesn't seem to be any sound coming from it other than the hiss (confirmed by putting a book over the speaker).

Will have to VAG-COM it first to see if throws any codes.
