Daughter's car got broken into and lost the eclipse HU. There was a 5 way Rockford in the trunk along with a Eclipse 8 CD changer (which according to Eclipse will work with the new HU) and a subwoofer. The bozos at CC "installed" an new Eclipse HU CD 3000 and didn't know how to 'get the amp to turn on'. So I guess they simply wired the Head unit to the front speakers and left it at that.

Anybody have someone who knows what they're doing out there?

Not sure of their current location though.
