Looking for a new mid or maybe a whole component set to replace my MB Quarts. Need to get something with more midbass. How are those Rainbows? Which series do you have? I'm looking at the Profi Vanadiums and Platinums.

As for mid bass, I wouldn't say they were brilliant but I think this is really down to the door cards. I used MDF adapters (& Dynamat obviously) to try and give them something approaching solid to kick against. I really wanted them for the silk dome tweeters to give a less harsh top end when the volume's jacked up and they certainly do that. They are far brighter than the previous Pioneers I had in there.
