I've been looking at the A4 1.8T and I understand that ONLY 7 SPOKE WHEELS ARE AVAILABLE with the SPORT PACKAGE. That said, has anyone had luck getting the dealer to swap them out, and if not, could I just buy the 5 spokes at the Audi parts department and have them put the sport tires on the 5 spokes? Any experience with this or ideas?<p>Thank You

I got the 5-spokes with my 1.8T sport package swapped for free. Other people have paid a few<br>hundred bucks to have them swapped. It all depends on the dealer. Good luck!<p>Joe

I'm one of those freaks who thinks the seven-spoke wheels look better (or at least more unique) than the stock five-spoke setup. I wasn't sure about them when I first ordered my Avant, but now prefer them. (You might also save yourself the hassle of arguing with the dealer.)<p>But, hey, it's your car.

My dealer agreed to help me look around and ask around if any 2.8 non-sport owners would do the trade, but no one did. He said one 1.8 non-sport owner was interested in the 7-spokers, but he had the 8-spoke 15" which wasn't what I wanted.<p>Probably the 5-spokers were much more popular.<p>I had to settle for the 7-spokers. I managed to get the 5 spokes cuz I absolutely DO NOT like the 7 spokes. Fact is, it's your money (and a lot of it). Just tell the dealer that if he can't make it happen then you'll take your business to a dealer that can.
