Radioshack has a very good set of cube speakers that fold together and run on 3 AAA batteries or AC adapter (not included) for $19.99. Price for the sound is great, but it is not a drop in solution. You have to plug it in to your ipod like headphones. It also does not charge the ipod. You need to plug in a charger as well.
