I put a concert II in my '96 A4 utilizing a CANBUS emulator. Everything works great except for 1 thing. When I turn on the HU it no longer displays Bose and the bass is louder. I have to set the bass to -5 to make it sound normal. All the sepakers seem to be putting out the same and it otherwise sounds great. What do you think? Is someth9ing going to blow up? Is it still utilizing the bose?

BTW, I got my CANBUS emulator from webmaster@jd-carparts.de on german ebay.

There is a Bose pin that needs to be connected to ground and there is some coding to set the correct equalization for a Bose system.

The HU is coded for Bose. I had it hooked up without the emulator for a few weeks and it worked fine. I will check the wiring again.
