Hey all,
Just installed APR chip (working out some maladaption problems with APR) and took my A4 for a quick spin around the block... when I got back and was letting the car idle, I noticed two weird sounds coming from the muffler area... first, there was this repetitive creaking sound which would last for maybe 20 secs, and then stop, and then start up again... sounded kinda like the sound of a cricket creaking... there was also a quick, repetitive air pumping sound... kinda like the sound that a bicycle pump makes when you're pumping up a tire... this would last for about 20 seconds too and then stop... anyone have any ideas? Spoke with Brett@Apr about it and he's never heard this before... I can't imagine it being caused by the chip... thanks for any help!
