I currently have a JL 10w3 in a custom box on the right side of my trunk (in the cubbyhole) hooked up to a Memphis 500x1 amp. I am interested in putting in the same setup on the other side hooked up to the same amp. How would this sound (looking for sound quality but also some added thump)? Would I encounter any problems hooking it up to the same amp? Comments? TIA!

audi only has one stock sub. and his amp is already wired up...no need for a hi/low converter. also his amp is a mono amp...no way to run it multi channel...do you know anything about audio at all?

yes you COULD put one on the other side, however you have to check your amp specs and your resistance. you need to make sure your amp can handle your final ohm load.

additionally, when you have two subs facing each other you're going to face MANY phase issues. it could be worked through but it would take alot of work.

yes you can install another sub on the other side and wire it to the amp, but, you may have to change both speakers to get more bass. the reason for this is that if the sub system was designed for maximum efficency and then you add another speaker you will either lose efficency or you will drop the impedence so low that the amp will become unstable. as to phase issues that could occur in lower midrange frequencies but would be insignificant at sub frequencies

Hey, it?s like this...the only thing that happens is that instead of having 500W distribuit one one point...U will have it divided on two...so...U will not have any aprovements....nothing new
