May 26th: I ordered a 99.5 2.8QTip.
June 28. Order changed to a '00 since you could not order a 99.5 after May 25th. Dealer jacks up previously agreed upon "$ over invoice" price.
July 26: I finally get an order reference number.
September 20: Car is built and on the water, I get the VIN.

I expect the car in mid to late October, which will be about 5 months from order date.
