Anyone know if this is possible. I have a '00 without the factory nav system. I have come across a source where I can get the trunk unit and the center console controller for about $175. Hell of a lot cheaper then an aftermarket kit. So my questions is this possible and if so any clue on how difficult it will be. Thanks!

I'd love to do the same. Where did you find the trunk unit and center console controller? Ebay? Do you know if it's pre-wired for one?

Nope not from e-bay but from a private contact who took it from his s6. I know the parts are the same, just not sure if it will work well with the dash integration.

To my knowledge the 2000 didn't have the correct dash board cluster. in MY00 there were two dash clusters a CAN bus version and a non CAN bus version. If you ordered the factory NAV you have the CAN bus version, if you didn't you got the non.

Anyhow, the factory NAV NEEDS THE CAN BUS VERSION! It will not even power on without it. Not to mention that the center display of the CAN bus version will not work with the Concert I radio (need the Concert II).

So pretty much my guess is that it would be extremely cost prohibitive.
