Hi all,

I just sunk 2 12" subwoofers in the floor of my '00 a4 a.8t and had to plasma cut that big hump in the spare tire well out. The hump actually contained the audi's evaporative emissions canister and my buddies and i had to relocate the thing to the right side of the car - 'tucked' away under the bumper. Problem is the things really big and it peeps out from beneath the bumper.

Do any of yall know how big the various evap cans from different VW models are? Im fairly certain that these things are interchangable between cars. Is the beetle can alot smaller? On the A4 the base of the box is about the size of a mousepad and nearly as tall. I also heard that bimmer cans are the size of a water bottle...

-How can I look up what different cars evap cans look like?

-anyone have any advice?

-once Ive got one in mind, its straight to the salvage yard to try and source one.
