you were having problems with, besides "the brain"...

I installed the clarion vrx935VD in my car and i have absolutly no idea where to hide the brain. Right now it is sitting on my passenger floor with all 50 wires showing and looks ugly. The main wire isnt long enough to reach the trunk and i dont think it will reach the back seats either with me being able to hide the wires nicely.

I was thinking of placing the "brain" inside the glove compartment.

You can't tuck it behind the dash somewhere? I've put FM modulator boxes in the dash of my ol' 5kq, which has about zero space to hide anything bigger than one of those complimentary books of matches. Trick is to make it fit ;-)
Could also maybe remove the center console, and see if it can go in there somewhere? Otherwise, the glove-box option mentioned by Frank sounds like your best alternative...

I have an IVA-D900, with the brain mounted in the trunk. I needed to get an extension cable to get it out from under my driver's seat.
The IVA-D900 brain is about the same size as the VRX935VD Brain. Most car's (Japanese and American) I've seen have been able to barely get the brain under one of the front seats. This didn't really help me, because my seat is always in the lowest position, so there's only about 2" of clearance for the brain. I had my brain mounted under my seat temporarily (until my extension cable came in) but my seat is usually almost all the way back, so the brain was hidden. The brain is too large to fit anywhere in the dash area. You may be able to fit it under the rear seat, but I found that when someone sits in the back, it looks like it will press against the brain, possibly denting it.
I'm not sure if Clarion makes one, I'll check for you tomorrow, and if I can't find it in the book, I'll ask my clarion rep. If I don't get back to you, please email me to remind me. ha ha
Hope this helps.
