I don't think Audi is going to rush to do this. Euro delivery was grea for many marques, but it cost them a lot of money. Apparently, for example, Porsche charges a big premium now. It isn't the big cost-saver that it used to be, especially after BMW got reamed by the IRS becuuse they didn't charge luxury tax to people who got Euro delivery.

Audi buyers now aren't really the same type of "money to burn" types like M-B and new Porsche buyers. When people are still haggling over $100 or less between dealers (your right to do so), that is a sign to Audi that people aren't going to plunk down $2k-$3k to get their car in Germany. It costs them a lot, they pass the cost on to the consumer.
