My car came with the standard 6 disc radio (non-bose). A friend has offed me two 12" bose subs with cabinet, a 1000w amp and all the wiring. I know very little about audio set up but would it work with my factory set-up? If so is $350 a good deal? Any input would be helpful.

with a whole lot of bass you're going to have to turn the rest of the factory system up to compete with the volume. if you push the stock stereo too hard too long your going to blow the speakers real quick.

i like my volume loud so it only took me 2 days when i added subs. a week after adding subs i'd also bought new components up front and a new headunit =)
