more like, well, metal. Any thoughts?

is it broken in? Mine had that smell when it was quite new (under 3K miles) even before I chipped (Wett 1.0 bar) and even after moderate driving. Then it just went away. Haven't smelled it since, and with the chip, I drive it a lot harder! (Isn't it fun? Whole different car, I think).
