I have (2) 1Farad caps on the amp. My lights still dim at night AND my battery needle jumps a little bit at deep notes when the lights are off. I wanted to know if just one good OPTIMA (or simliar deep-cycle) battery would cure problem. OR a new alternator AND new dep-cycle battery would do the trick. Any advice is good, but professional or experienced advice is preferred. Thanks. Sh8 04-03-2003, 12:56 AM Very unnecessary......one to two farads MAX. Neon01 04-03-2003, 09:24 AM They don't have the ultra-fast transient draw capability that the smaller ones do. Might want to check into that before you buy. Neon01 04-03-2003, 09:29 AM You can get high current alts (stinger, etc) that'll put out over 200 amps, which will more than take care of that one JBL. Be warned though, they're expensive. |
