1. front 5.25 components, rear door 6.5 coaxials and 2 12" subs in the back, *NO* rear deck speakers at all
or
2. front 5.25 components, 2 12" subs in the back, rear deck 6.5 components and *NO* rear door speakers.

I've got 5.25s up front and a stealthbox in the back so its a kinda-sorta similar setup. I dont really carry passengers much so I have yet to put speakers in the rear doors (i probably will if I ever decide to compete or something).
I'm sure many on this forum will agree that leaving the rear deck open is the best choice...

Although I was stupid and went with option # 1, and using the money I spent on the rear door components and installation, I probably could have went with custom pods and larger woofers up front.
(yes, I've got my speakers -- I just need to get them installed)...I'm putting 5.25" components up front and uncrossed over 6.5" midbass in the rear deck (no rear tweeters). Darren has this in his A4 and it sounds pretty good IMO. I will be adding a lone 12" to the mix.

i think i will stick to the 5.25 components in the front and 6.5 coax in the rear door and 2 12's in the trunk. and have no rear deck speakers and leave it to let more bass travel through. anyway where are you getting your stuff instaled and what amp are you using to drive everything?
