Maybe I'm nuts for saying this, but I think "...Yeah, but I'm driving an Audi.." can be the answer to most negative comments. For example:
person 1: " You flunked the midterm.."
you: " yeah, but I'm driving an Audi..."
person 2: " You're report isn't in my office and it's two days late.."
you: " yeah, but I'm driving an Audi..."
person 3: " you're still living at home, you have no life, and you are still single..."
you: " YEAH, but... I'm driving an AUDI..."
person 4: " my car can beat your car in a quarter mile, has better handling in the slaloms, and has better gas mileage.."
you: " yeah, but I'm driving an AUDI..."
person 5: " I guess you're pretty bummed about her(him) leaving you..."
you: " Yeah, I guess, but.... I'm driving an AUDI.."
person 6: " James Bond is driving the new BMW..."
you: " yeah, but I AM DRIVING AND AUDI..."
