Unfortunately I have the Bose system. What I want to do first is add a sub/amp combo (I already have an enclosure with two JL Audio subs from another car) to the stock system. What adaptors do I need and where do I tap into the stock wiring?
Second, if I want to use the stock Symphony radio with all new amps/speakers, can I use the modified Blau connector I've been reading about in the Forum?
Third, if I do scrap the Bose system, is there any way to use the existing wiring to make the install easier?
Finally, does anyone know a good installer in the Cleveland area?

Thanks,

PS Is there a Bentley manual for this car yet?
PPS Would you guys get the UUC and chip before stereo mods, or vice versa? This is the first time I've EVER had a stock stereo, and it's not pleasant.

How do you feel about the power that the car has? If you haven't had it long enough or you're not quite in control of it, wait to chip. If you feel you could use some more (and you have a few thousand miles), chip away. But do the UUC SS first - you'll really enjoy it.

Oh, you said Cleveland - in that case, wait to chip until the spring.

As for the stereo, I'm not that familiar with the bose, however if you want to use new amps and speakers, you should be able to. You just have to find out where the line level outputs from the headunit are. Or you could even get them at the input to the bose amp. Grabbing them up front will allow you to run new RCA wires to the rear which will most likely give you higher quality sound than using the existing wires. It's also your best bet to run all new wires from the amp to the speakers - I'm not sure how good the existing wiring is. Since you'll have the door panels off anyway, you may as well add all new wiring at that time.

good luck,
