Was thinking of installing this in my 97' a4. Anyone else have this? Opinions? How hard was it to install? etc...

I wanted a few more gadgets on mine, but everyone I talked to and all of the reviews I read said it was a great head unit, it does look good and sounds great, I was able to play with one in another customer's car. And as far as installation goes, any head unit you buy is going to be about the same. If it has everything you want in a head unit then go for it! Nobody complains about Blaupunkt quality! Hope that helped!

I purchased it on ebay for around 250 with the thummer3 remote (have yet to install the thummer3). I installed it myself and with some help from scosche, it wasn't that difficult. Beware though, the au2300B separator will not fit exactly and will need to be shaven down. Anyway, i stalled it myself and it wasn't that difficult. It looks great and the sound is pretty good, not excellent though. I am using the stock 96 a4 speakers (non-bose). email me for any quesions.
