I've just bought a kenwood 728s amp which i am gonna bridge (at 300W) to an RF 12" XLC sub. I need a kit to install this though. I won an ebay auction for a 4-guage amp kit which has this description:

COMPLETE 4 Guage Wire Kit(20ft OFC RED - 4ft OFC BLACK)- Even includes 35 ft of 12 guage OFC(Oxygen-Free) speaker wire that most kits don't include - A lot of thought has been placed in producing this HI-END Amp Wire Kit! Beware of many CHEAP kits out there, as you'll be spending more $$$ on missing/inferior parts! - This kit has it ALL from TERMINALS, FUSE HOLDER, AGU FUSE, WIRE LOOM! Also has TRIPLE SHIELDED RCA's for superior noise rejection and has a built-in turn on wire! I beg you to compare this to other kits out there, as this is the BEST VALUE on the MARKET! I'm offering these on-line for a small margin - we sell these wholesale to regional dealers and most retail from$89+!!! This kit has everything necessary to complete the job.

- i emailed the guy. He said the brand name was American accesories. I have never heard of them. Are american accessories good parts? Or does it matter with wires? Should i spend a whole lot more money and get a rockford fosgate or will this do? Total cost with shipping is $46. I am weary because of the unknown brand name, but the feautres of the parts are awsome for such a low price. Any feedback is appreicated,

thanks,
matt

you could have just gone to your local audio store, gotten an 8 gague power kit (no RCA's) and you still have to get a converter i believe. you dont need RCA's because if you put the converter under the rear deck, all you need is about a 3' pair of RCA's that you can get at Radio Shack.
