An installer is recommending Esoteric Audio amplifiers for a system he's designing for my S4. He is recommending a ESOE 7082 (80x2 w) to power a/d/s 344IS's in the front and an ESOE 7152(150x2 w) crossed over to power an Eclipse ECL88100.4 10" sub. I haven't been able to find out much about Esoteric Audio amplifiers so I wonder if anyone has any info or suggestions.

I too was looking at the esoteric amps. There is a review on them at www.audioholics.com. I was looking at the 6 channel myself. I haven't heard a bad thing about them, yet.
What prices did they give you on those amps you are looking at? Did they give you a price on the 6 channel? Just curious.

I live in Santa Barbara, CA. They want $550 for the 7082 and $800 for the 7152 reference. Thanks for the review site.

there other stuff (wiring and capacitors) are very good quality. I wonder if they make these amps or are outsourcing and putting their name on them?
