They're prices are insanely good. Has anyone used them? Are they reliable? Are they quick? Comments?

thanks!

I did, and was very pleased with my transactions, but this was way back in June. I ordered quite a few pieces from them (head unit, CD changer, seperates, two subwoofers) and everything was handled as well as I could have expected, or better. I certainly had a better experience with them than most other online retailers I've dealt with! There have been a few people on the board more recently that had some problems, but it seems quiet now. If you do a search, you will probably come up with the good, the bad, and the ugly and then you can decide.

I orderd 3 amps from their website, got a call two days later saying that they no longer had 2 of the amps, and asked if I wanted something different, I said "No, just ship the one you do have", it showed up 4 or 5 days later and it works great, brand new, packaging was great, price was awesome and they were nice people, ended up paying more somewhere else for the other 2 amps.

Be sure you are aware of all the warranty issues also. Soundhabit is not an authorized dealer of most of the items they sell, so they warranty these items themselves. For example; I bought a Nakamichi head unit and Nakamichi in-dash changer from them. Locally, I would have gotten a 3 year warranty from Nakamichi, but from soundhabit, I only got 1 year. But, since I paid half as much for both pieces as I would have locally, I figured if just one broke, I could replace it and still be money ahead. If both break, I'm even. Works for me, plus I didn't have to pay tax or for professional installation, which is required by Nakamichi for the three year coverage. FWIW, I am still happy as can be with the products I purchased.

Soundhabit is a discount division of another audio store (from what I understand). The thing that I thought was really weird was that my receipts were hand written, but everything was complete and on-time.

Good luck!
