I'd like to order a '00 1.8T but carOrder hasn't posted prices yet in the MI area (maybe October). Can those of you that have 2000 A4 on order give me a rough idea of how much above invoice it actually is? I trying to figure out if I should wait or if I should just go ahead order through the dealer to get the car before the snow arrives.

...I believe that all of us with '00s on order from them orginally ordered '99.5s (true?) and after not being able to find cars, they are fulfilling their comittment by ordering '00s. In my case, my at-invoice deal on a '99.5 works out to $451 below '00 invoice.

I bet that when they announce pricing, they'll be competitive with carsdirect, but whether the at-invoice deals come back is anyone's guess.
