I have a Sealed box with 2 12" kicker comps fired backwards w/a 400 watt jbl M600 Sony Xplode deck. How may farads do I need to sufficiently protect the battery and alternator?

If its a few years old, replace the stock battery and it should be better. If not then a farad cap should do, but try the battery first.
