Anyone remember the first portable CD players for cars? The ones with the adapter that slid into the cassette deck? Well, I just bought one of those 9" AC/DC Tv/VCR's for the van. Where I need to put it, the small speaker is blocked. It does, however, have an earphone jack. Did that Cassette adapter work through the earphone jack, or did it have its own? Could I make this work, and get sound out of the TV and to the van speakers this way? Ideas? Thanks.

Basically, its the old "garbage in, garbage out..." I have a cheap 'ol TV/VCR combo, and sent the audio through the R/S cassette adapter to a factory radio/cassette unit, ending with factory speakers. Sounded terrible!! I then used small cubes connected to the headphone out. Also, bad. The muffled 3" built-in speaker actually sounded best of all. Oh well, you never know until you try. Thanks again.
