Ok. just had my stereo equipment installed, but now my dash lights go dim just like the overhead lights do once the keys go in the ignition. I have looked through the archives and from what I understand there was a sensor in the Audi head unit which controlled it.What I would like to know is, is there a pin that can be jumped to restore full power to my dash lights??

Glad you figured it out and fixed it. Lord knows if you would have called the installer to report the problem, he probably would have told you it's SUPPOSED to do that!
