I've been trying to find the string all night!! I need the directions of what wires are the line level outputs on the Symphony headunit in my 2000 A4 1.8TQMS. Thank you!!, Please e-mail me instead of posting, cause searching for the post is a pain in the ass!!Thanx

The pin outs are listed on a sticker on the top of the radio.
My non bose system only had wires going into the rear line outs, the front line outs didn't have wires in the plug.

More on this....
on the radio, there is a clear diagram. It will be easy to figure out. And, they are the only pins in the plug that don't have wires attached. For the neg, use the same one as the fronts. It uses a common ground.
By the way, the pins are very small. In order to work with this, I went to radio shack. I got a kit that is designed to allow you to make your own 9-pin serial connector for a computer. It has a small plug, and 9 little pins. The pins are supposed to be soldered onto the end of wires and pushed into the plug. These little pins are just the right size to push into the plug and grip the little pins inside the radio, and hold firmly.<p>Steve Crumley
