I have one of the original non-Bose A4s.....and the radio died last weekend. The radio wakes up (I can tune, change CDs, play tapes), but there is no sound. I can also hear the rear amp waking up. So....it looks like preamp issue. Any suggestions? Would a short in the trunk nuke the preamp in the head unit? Does Audi/Blaupunkt have a repair center? Do I sing to myself from this point on?

In the later Concert radios, there is a fuse in the back, otherwise I don't really know what to tell you. I know you can send it to Clair Parts and they send you a rebuilt one for $300 I think. But, if you want a Concert radio for some reason, mine is kicking around... just email me.
