I follow the FAQ which suggested a Bose woofer replacement. I put the new speaker in this afternoon. However, there are no sound coming out from the new speaker once I turned on the radio. (I connect the black wire to the "-" and the black with white strip to the "+" before I turn on the radio.) I connected the old one back and again no sound. I did not connect the break light connect to the trunk yet. Does this has anything to do with the woofer? I checked all the fuses, but they are fine as well. Any suggestion on what went wrong? Please help! If you do not know what's wrong, can you suggest a installer in Boston area that may be able to help me.

The CHMSL has nothing to do with not getting any sound from your woofers. Re-check the speaker connections to your woofers again. When installing them into their holes, the wires might have detached. Even if the polarity is wrong they should still produce sound, just the woofer will be moving in the wrong direction. If the other speakers are working than it would not be a fuse. Take your time and check over your installation, I would hate to think you did all of that work yourself just to turn around and pay a shop to do it. Good luck.
