I went to a car stereo shop and was talking to him about getting a 5 channel amp for my car. I said to him I'm thinking of the Alpine F357 5 channel amp and he told me that that amp does not have enough "omph" and that the MTX would give cleaner and "better" sound for less money.

Is this amp worth 400 bucks new and installed?
