View Full Version : Does anyone make an MD changer??? matthewk 03-20-2000, 02:03 PM matthewk 03-20-2000, 02:15 PM JA6SON 03-20-2000, 02:30 PM There are a few companies that make MD changers. Eclipse, Kenwood, Clarion, Nak, and some others. In my opinion Kenwood and Sony still have the best products. But from what was at CES this year there will be a lot more choices next year. Clarion made a DIN size 4 disc changer with a single loading slot, it was pretty slick especially for a new Audi with a Double DIN. They stopped making it but due to the lack of knowledge of MD there are quite a few around still. Sony also has a slick new MD headunit that can record from radio and CD changer. Cool if you like gimicks, but totally worthless on the practical scale. I have a Kenwood Excelon MD headunit, and absolutely love it. If you can live with a single disc, and don't want to add onto the factory system with RF, it's pretty sweet. Good luck Jason Cdog! 03-20-2000, 07:56 PM I'm not sure if JVC makes an MD changer, but I thought you might want to know that the ingenious minds at JVC have made a DIN-sized CD/MD reciever. The model number is KD-MX3000. Check it out at www.crutchfield.com if you are interested. Q 03-21-2000, 05:53 PM Alpine...
