I'm a bit confused about the JL Audio Stealthbox for the A4. I know it has two 8"s, but which 8" subs are these? 8w0's? 8w1's? 8w3's? The JL Audio website states that the stealthbox handles 150 watts. Does this mean that the two 8"s combined handle 150 watts or do each sub handle 150 watts individually? Also, for anyone who has had experience with the stealthbox, do the two 8"s hit hard enough to compete with 10"s or maybe even 12"s of some other brand (Rockford Fosgate, MTX, etc). Right now I'm trying to decide between the stealthbox setup or two 12w3's.

The only name I've heard given to the subs in the Stealthbox are "Infinite Baffle 8"s". Don't quiet know what that means, or if a description or a category of speaker. I can say that they do hit hard and clean. I don't have much to compare them to, but I've heard from others that they're easily mistakeable for 10"s or even 12"s. Amplified properly, I think they provide ample bass.
See my post below for a good view of the Stealthbox installed.

I bought the box and a had a rockford punch 100 amp. I thought It was the worse sub box I ever hear. This weekend I enstalled a eclipse 3242 top of the line for them. The sound and hit is amazing. It sounds crisp and shakes my out side mirrors. I have had compitition stereos in my past car. This set up competes with them. I also have eclipes head unit and kicker front and rear component speakers. Now my bose system is totaly out of my car.

I personally do not like infinite baffle(free air) subwoofers. I thought about purchasing the stealthbox with the intention of fabricating some kind of sealed enclosure around them using 8W6's
