Okay, I have an S4 and all I have found info on is the A4. How similar are they as far as stereo's go? I have the Audi Symphony. I have managed to discover 6 speakers. 4 fronts which are 4" and 3/4" and 2 rears which are 6.5" Of course I have heard conflicting things like, 5.25 can fit in the front if they are the right kind. Well what does that mean? Is my 5.25" different than your 5.25". Ok this is now starting to sound perverse. Eitherway, I also have no idea on what type of wattage is comeing out of these things. Also is there a factory amp, and if so where did they hide it?

I am planing on upgrading my system. I don't want to swap factory HU though. I like the idea of indash cd and tape. Plus it matches. I have been made aware of the fact that I will want an FX100 or such that converts lineouts to RCA. Basically run to the Amp, probably mounted on roof of front part of trunk. Then NEW wire to the 6 speakers. I am figuring on 4ch and noticed that most components have crossovers, what do I need those for? I would imagine they separate the Highs and Lows for the correct speaker in the set. Should those be in the back with the amp or is there room in the doors. Does attenuation(sp) come into play?

Help, Guidence, Flames...anything would be great. I have also had like 900+ brands recommended. A/D/S, Kenwood, MB Q, Alpine, Boston Acc, list goes on. Probably the only one no one has recommend is Sony and I remember my sony HU from 4 years ago, so I understand why. Thing was a piece of junk.
