Hi people,
I'm currently running a JL Audio Stealthbox powered by an Xtant 121m running @ 2ohms mono. I'd like to add rear door speakers to my non-Bose system. Can I power the 2nd amp for the rear doors using the existing power cables from the Xtant?
Also, how can I power my front speakers with the 2nd amp? How many channels would I need?
TIA

Yes you can power the amp with the same power wire provided its a large enuff gauge to run two amps... you will need a distribution block to split and fuse the power cables.
If you want to run front and rear speakers from the second amp you will need a 4 channel amp, power can range from 30watts a channel to 100watts depending on what you buy, 50 is a safe in between. The front speakers MAY be crossed over so even though u have 4 (2 mids 2 tweets)the amp would only see 2 speakers (left and right). If not a set of passive crossovers could be used or just replace the front set with a set of coaxials that are x-overed internally, or buy a set of seperates that do come with a passiver x-over.

Hope that helps.
