It was done w/ the help of the great guys at Teknicar here in NYC. The owner Mario is a pro when it comes to audi stuff: he does a lot of high-end work for rap stars and celebrities (Martin Scorsese's Mercedes was being worked on when I was there... NICE!) Hopefully the pictures will post OK. The satellites are all MB Quarts, even the rear doors (check out the neat custom panels...) Mario even located tweeters up in the rear deck in the old rears for me so that the JL Stealthbox wouldn't boom too much. The amp is courtesy of my father-in-law (thanks Jack...) Let me know what you think.

Rob,
What exactly did you get installed, and how much did the installation cost?

Mike

Satellites are all MB Quarts (front: standard tweeter was KEPT, lower speaker is 6.5), rear door s have ssame setup (lower is 6.6, tweeter relocated to pod openeing where original rears were), JL Audio Stealthbox, massive Sony amp (I don't even know what it is..) I already had an Alpine HU installed so they din't do anything w/ that. They also upgraded the wires to Monster cable all around. The amp has some crossover functions built in so I'm sure that helps. Hope this is enough to start w/. Rob

Rob,
I'm from upstate NY. Mind telling me where you got the system installed and how much it cost for the installation. I'm looking to get my A4 done, but need to find a reputable place where I won;t be wasting my cash.
Thanks,
Mike

It'all there. Teknicar is in NYC, they have a website (look below) and ask for Mario. My install was not cheap to say the least...ahem. It was new job present top myself and my car. mario will work w/ you on price but be prepared for a rather hefty bill. The upside: the work is so good that you won't believe your ears! Call him and discuss, he'll try to help you. HTH

Teknicar
