Okay... it's really piss'n me off now.
I ordered the MB Quart 5.25" adapter ring for a special sales price of $50! They first told me it will take 2 - 3 days. Alright, I am okay with that. Now, they tell me it will take another 10 days or so... What? Are they building these things by hand?!?!

Anyway, long story short. I think I may just ditch the 5.25" speakers and buy another set of 4" components. Will the 4" speakers bolt on without adapter rings?

Help would be appreciated!

The stock speakers are held in by 3 screws in a triangular shape, but I believe most aftermarket components have holes in the basket for 4 equally spaces screws. So, no, I don't believe it will be a simple drop-in task.
