I took my panels off and tried a test fit but my BA Rally's hit the metal
frame on the door. So, my question is, what have others done to get
5.25" speakers to fit in their 99.5 A4?

As much as I am satisfied with the 4" MBQs in there, I can't help but
wonder how much better 5.25 Bostons would be.

i have installed 5.25 b.a. in the front of a 97 a4 , lots of work but well worth it!!
