Not sure on your '00, but on my 98 they are 4.5"s. Having custom fit rings made to accomodate the 5.5 and some metal trimming for the depth.

Heya Darren, Chris ended up cutting some custom 1/4" MDF as an adapter. Bolting on the Focals wasn't a problem (5.25"), but the excursion on them is much greater than on the MBQ's that Chris tried before. He bolted up the MBQ's without an adapter on a friend's S4.

The stocks are like 4.5". Shouldn't be too much of a problem to bolt up a standardish 5.25" driver, but watch the excursion. You'll know if it's too much :P

Yeah i know about drew's car..... im hoping the MBQ adapters give me the space for the cone to move, the ID's will throw a bit...but not as much as they will when i sit an xtant on em. :oD
Were you pleased with the overall install and sound u got?
Im debating on kickpanels (full constructs) but im not sure yet, i guess i will see what it sounds like when i get my speakers this week.
Hope to have it in so all at the Houston Show N Shine can hear the product. Then by the next show n shine maybe the new ID sub. who knows??
THanks

Darren
