Who has the steath box for the Audi and how do u like? How is it powered? Thanks

I had the Stealthbox installed a few weeks ago with an Alpine 4 channel amp (30x4). 2 Channels are bridged to power the Box, and the other 2 run the front factory speakers. Overall, I've very happy with it, although I don't think I quite have the crossovers set properly yet.

For the setup, the sound is impressive. The subs are very accurate, smooth, and clean and they can hit pretty hard. My one complaint with my setup is that with only the front factory speakers, I'm lacking in midrange (hope to remedy this with high quality front replacements). I tried raising the crossover on the sub to provide more mid-bass, but the sound became very boomy and muffled.

If you're looking for an upgrade that will save your trunk space, I definitely recommend this setup.

Quick question for you...I installed the Stealthbox as per our conversation, but sometimes it sounds like it's trying to hit highs out of its range. Any thoughts?

I replaced the stock Delta head unit with an Alpine 3Cd In-dash changer. The only things left stock are the front speakers... for now.

PS Why do you ask?

After having mine installed, I spent an hour with the tech setting the crossover levels. I tried setting the StealthBox higher (approx. 160hz) to provide some midrange to the rear, but the sound got very boomy and muddy. I ended up setting it much lower, around 80-90hz, and the bass is much more clear and accurate. The problem with this is that the front speakers don't have the range to fill the mid range sound either. Gotta add some rear door speakers, I guess...

How much was your Stealthbox and what size woofer?
